We are based in the industrious city of Birmingham, UK once described as the City Of A Thousand Trades. We specialise in all things made from wood. Offering bespoke carpentry services producing furniture and accessories for both private and commercial clients.
Our favourite materials to work with are reclaimed timbers which gives most of what we produce a rustic and industrial feel. Having said that if you’re looking for something more traditional or contemporary in style, we can also help you by selecting different materials and finishes.
Founded in 2013 by Steven Biddlestone, The Woodyard supplies handcrafted furniture all over the UK. Steven’s love of wood began as a boy, watching his father (Eddie) a joiner, craft pieces and skilfully use tools. After a 10 year career running his own landscape gardening business, Steve set up The Woodyard to put the skills he inherited to good use. Now this craft is second nature to Steven, and he feels lucky he gets to do what he loves every day - with his dog Stanley by his side!
